LOA webinar: Registration Process for SIEF members

Dates: Tuesday, May 4, 2010 and Wednesday, May 5, 2010

Two webinars were held in early May 2010 for all interested SIEF members with substances managed by the Lower Olefins and Aromatics (LOA) REACH Consortium.  At the webinars, the LOA Executive Project Manager presented:

This presentation is based on general information available at the time of writing, and does not constitute advice to any specific person. The author made a good faith attempt to ensure that the information provided is accurate. No warranty, express or implied,as to completeness, accuracy, or any other aspect is given by the LOA REACH Consortium, its Members, or Service Partners. Registrants are reminded that it is their own responsibility to decide what is required to meet the REACH Regulation for their legal entities. They are urged to review the requirements and guidance to be found on the ECHA website, and obtain legal or other advice as necessary.
  • What the LOA REACH Consortium will deliver to the SIEF members
  • How the process will work for purchasing a letter of access, including payment and delivery of the datasets
  • What registrants need to do as part of the overall registration process to ECHA
  • How data should be entered into IUCLID (a practical guide)

The presentations were followed by a question and answer session.  Commonly asked questions will be added to the FAQs page on this site.  The presentation from the webinars is posted here - due to the large file size, it is posted in three parts: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.

The audio portion of both webinars is also available for download for a month following the webinars:
