General Assembly
Includes all members of the Consortium, each with one vote.
Makes decisions on amendments to the Consortium Agreement, the Consortium’s budget and financial statements, approval of the core data to be submitted for registration, and Membership status.
Meets twice a year in ordinary session (in principle in May and October).
Executive Committee
Appointed by the General Assembly, currently with eight voting Members and three non-voting Members (representatives of the Technical Steering Committee and the APA/LOSG Cefic Sector Groups). Each voting Member has one vote.
Supervises the day-to-day activities of the LOA Consortium, makes a series of operational decisions, monitors costs against approved budgets, and represents the Consortium to third parties. It also decides on organisational issues such as appointment of the Secretariat and the members of the Technical Steering Committee, amendments to the list of substances covered by the Consortium Agreement and any testing required to meet information requirement needs.
Technical Steering Committee
Appointed by the Executive Committee, composed of Members’ technical experts and supervises the technical work that must be undertaken to produce the technical dossiers on the substances and categories covered by the Consortium.
Assisted by a team of technical experts associated within the Secretariat.
Secretariat - The LOA Reach Services Team
The daily administration and management of the LOA REACH Consortium is entrusted to the Secretariat. The LOA REACH Services Team Temporary Association (“LOAT TA”) has been appointed as the Secretariat for the Consortium, providing Technical, Legal and Financial services (see LOA Services Team link under the Organisation tab for more information).
